Beautiful plush stuffed pit bull (and Pocket Pittie!) Adala is based on a mystery.  Back in July, 2011, this pit bull (pitbull) was in danger, posted on the Facebook pages of Bruised Not Broken and Urgent Part Two  -- two sites that advocate daily for at-risk pit bulls and other homeless pets in the New York City shelter system.  She had hours to live as she faced the worst of all fates -- a fate all too common for shelter pit bulls -- and as her smiling picture could attest, she had no idea.

But someone -- somewhere -- rescued her, her picture was moved lovingly into the "Safe!" folders of these two Facebook pages, and the world moved on.

Adala's a perfect little plush pit bull toy, one of seven Pocket Pitties based on pit bulls (pitbulls) from the shelter system.

Only problem is, there isn't any information.  We can't find her, and that's where her story -- at least on this site -- ends.

Until then, she's an honored "Pocket Pittie" pitbull plush stuffed animal from CharlieDog and Friends, and like so many BNB "alumni", she's out there, somewhere.  Safe.

All our plush pit bull Pocket Pitties are 7" tall when seated.  They're made of super-soft velour, and slightly weighted with beans in the butt to keep them in their "good dog" position!  Eyes and features are embroidered onto the toy, so you won't have to worry about plastic parts.

All Pocket Pitties plush stuffed animal pit bulls (pitbulls) are lovingly inspected, dressed with our unique "Adopt" collar bracelets (which are perfectly suitable to wear as a bracelet on a human arm).  They are sent through the mail after being nestled into a bed of colorful crinkle paper, then wrapped in (slightly) fragrant tissue paper and closed with a CharlieDog seal.  Included with your purchase is a postcard of the real-life dog, and his/her story, and a Facebook card for Bruised Not Broken (who welcomes your friendship).  The boxes are sealed and labeled "Special Delivery".
