One town over from the CharlieDog offices, in Harrison, New York, is a puppy shop.  I won't name it here, but I will tell you that, if the puppy shop doesn't have what you're looking for, they will contact their middleman -- a go-between for the pet shop and the puppy mill -- to get it for you to purchase.

And also: one town over from the CharlieDog offices is Westchester Humane Society. It's a shelter undergoing something of a renaissance, because its volunteers recently took control of a dire situation, and now WHS is a shelter with a bright future.  The WHS website lists available cats and dogs, and each is cuter than the next.**

At WHS, they're all "in stock".

It's great to know that in Harrison, New York, there is a great place to get your new family pet.  As far as we're concerned, it's the only place.

Every purchase of a CharlieDog collar bracelet (for people!) sparks a three-dollar donation to Westchester Humane Society during September and October.  See them all on our "Adopt" collar bracelet page.

** Want to know what professional pet photography can do for the adoptability of a shelter animal?  Check out WHS's "adoptable dog" page, and the professional pet photography of Geoff Tischman, who donates his time and talent to this shelter, and many more around the New York metropolitan area.  Clean backgrounds, engaged subjects, the selective focus of a tilt-shift lens, and that special, magical "something"  -- all combine to get these dogs and cats noticed, and home.  (You can also hire him for your own pet portraits).
