A CharlieDog Rabbit? Yep!

This suggestion came from Adrienne Sabilia this morning. We say, Yes! More about rescue rabbits to come...but we love Adrienne's idea, and we'll have these guys ready for Easter, 2013.
She wrote:
"While there are thousands of homeless dogs and cats - there are equally
as many homeless rabbits. Rabbits are one of the most frequently
abandoned & surrendered pets - many people think they can just let
their rabbit lose in the wild, and it will live off of grass and
dandelions. Many rabbits are purchased as pets for children because they
are (incorrectly) believed to be "cuddly", "low-maintenance" and good
pets for children. They're bought on a whim for Easter presents, and
most families are not ready for the 7-10 year commitment that comes with
having a bunny. While rabbits can be cuddly - they're not toys who can
be discarded - they're just as expressive, loving and (admittedly)
demanding as dogs or cats. Simply look up "rabbits" in a lower NY area
code on PetFinder - you'll be shocked to see how many rabbits were found
in deplorable conditions.
I'd like to ask you to consider making a plush bunny toy to
compliment your dogs & cats. I think a rabbit would be a great
addition to your line - there's a massive community of bunny lovers
around the country, and rabbits are the epitome of "plush" - (have you
ever pet a bunny? I can promise you- you'll never find "plush-er" fur
anywhere!)
I know you're working very hard on creating new toys to satisfy your
ever-growing base of fans around the country. But perhaps this is
something you could launch around March 2013 (right in time for Easter), Instead of buying a real bunny for your child - bring home a softie bunny! (or better yet - adopt!)
Regardless whether or not you ever create a plush bunny - I
appreciate and applaud your passion, determination, and relentless work
to help homeless pets. And I can't want to proudly show my support with a
"rescue bracelet" as soon as they're available!
I'm attaching two photos of LB - hopefully you'll find her as cute (& plush) as I do!
