We're happy to tell the world that we are currently developing a brand-new line of little "pocket pitties": super-soft, affordable, pocket-sized plush versions of the dogs we love to love!  These are tyke-sized toys that fit in your pocket -- and can be bought with pocket-money!

Designed by Kathy Voerg, these toys celebrate the variety, resilience and adorability of the classic American mutt, the pit bull.  Red, white, blue; merle, brindle, patched, spotted, speckled, freckled, and everything in between, the pit bull is THE obvious choice for a soft toy with a line all its own.

We wanted to make a more affordable line of CharlieDogs, something the kiddies could afford, and dedicate it to the dog type that makes up the majority of unwanted, homeless dogs in America's shelters.

And what's more American, besides the pit bull, than Made in America?  It's where our Pocket Pitties will be made, and to celebrate "Made in America", our first offering will be three pitties sold as a team: one red, one white, one blue.

Sales of our Pocket Pitties will benefit Bruised Not Broken, our favorite pit-bull advocacy group.  CharlieDogs has transported countless pit bull rescues, pulled straight from death row in New York City, for Bruised Not Broken.  BNB has been an "underground railroad" of salvation for these dogs, many of whom are down to, quite literally, their last hour.  So many, many animals owe their lives to the tireless efforts of Brooke, Dave, Carol and Anne.  We'd like to give something back to them, to help them realize their next step in the dream.
